Like a magpie, Jen is easily distracted…by pretty yarn. When she couldn’t find the patterns she wanted to knit for her sonand daughter, she started designing them. Jen currently lives near Seattle, WA with her great kids and Navy husband, but they’re frequently on the move.

Jen,
Congrats on your new domain! BTW, how do we subscribe so we get notified of updates? If we’re subscribed to the former url, will that subscription automatically transfer here? I don’t want to miss anything!

Jen,
Sounds like you and your family had a great time going cross country. New patterns and new stores. Sounds like fun to me.
When we were in the Top Down class at the Yarn Cloud you showed us a book that I think was by Barbara Walters. It included a t-shirt pattern. Could you please send me the name of the book.
Thanks very much.
Susan
Hi Jen,
First off, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy reading your blog! I really like how you talk about your family and your everyday life.
I wanted to ask if you’d be interested in writing a post about North Light Fibers or doing a review of our yarn. We’re a small mill on Block Island that produces different blended yarns from exotic fibers such as alpaca, yak, bamboo, camel, and soy silk. We’re surrounded by alpacas, camels, yaks and other exotic friends (our mill is right in the middle of the animal farm) and we have a great store where we sell our yarns, needle felting kits, felted soaps, alpaca socks and other goods that are hand made, hand woven, and hand knit.
Would you be interested in doing a post about North Light Fibers? We can send you some additional information about us (literature material), or if you’d like, we can also send you some free samples for review. Just let me know what you’d be interested in!
Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you!
Nancy, North Light Fibers
